Who is Tracy B?

TracyB was established in Cape Town in 1990. With just under two decades of experience in the swimwear industry, the swimsuit collections target the high-end customer who is confident, strong and sensual. The garments reflect simplicity, style and individuality without compromising on quality. Most fabrics are sourced from Spain and Italy which gives the swimsuit its luxurious finish.

TracyB has been featured in editorials of the hottest fashion magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Elle, Style, FHM, GQ and many others. The swimsuits have also been on the covers of most of these leading magazines.

Tracy Efstathiou, the designer behind the collections, is always on the lookout for the latest trends and is inspired by her travels abroad, different cultures and the latest fabrics which makes for an exciting, glamorous and unique collection each year.

TracyB has also taken part in most of the fashion weeks that have been held in Cape Town and Johannesburg namely Arise Africa Fashion Week, Cape Town Fashion Week and the Cosmopolitan Swimwear Show.

2009/2010 Collection

This season's collection features bright, bold colours with a rich gold binding giving the swimsuits a luxurious, glamorous feel. We have striking colours like coral, jade, turquoise and pink all edged in gold with accessories on the bust and hips. There are sexy monokinis for the more daring customer and beautiful, flowing kaftans to match the swimsuits.

The prints are exciting with lots of blues and greens mixed to create a cool feel.

The styles are simple but stylish with a fun, sexy edge which gives them their uniqueness.

Aside from the swimwear TracyB designs, the shop would also like to include long, flowing kaftans, designer handbags and accessories appropriate for the beach, strappy, sexy sandals and dresses which can be slipped over your swimsuit so you can be taken from the beach to the bar with confidence and style.
